THE JETS/CURRENT AFFAIRS CLUB

The above named club was inaugurated in the Year 2006 by the Vice Principal with the following members of the committee.

• Mrs. Elisabeth Ukweni
• Mrs. Maria Ogar

The above teachers were given the mandate to organize and see to the activities of the club.

ACHIEVMENTS:

Soon after the formation of the club, we have being able to motivate the student to inculcate the habit of reading and researching, so as to be equipped with facts which will keep them fully abreast of the past, current and science knowledge to meet up with our vision 2011 which will make the best result in both junior and senior WAEC/NECO exams and to produce excellent candidate for the nation's tertiary institutions thereby proposing to reduce the high level of Examination Malpractice in our society.

With the above vision, we have had series of Quiz competitions organized by the club between boys and girls in each class and between classes in the school. We had also persuaded teachers to organize Quiz in their various subjects to still boost the activities of the club and school. Consequently, we are proud to see that the students are very excited especially when it has to do with inter class competition. The success of this club which has actually reflected in the students' academic work is a clear evidence of the members hard work.
