French CLUB

The French Club of the AMMHS has gone a long way, and as proof, the participation of the members to the secondary schools French Competition which took place in Calabar on the 25th of May, 2006. Besides this event, the students have regularly participated in the different quiz sessions organized within the schools premises. The French Club members have equally learned songs which have been exhibited during some ceremonies.

To move the club to a higher level, there is a necessity to create and equip a French Laboratory which will make the members keen of the language CD-rom and studio cassettes. With several activities recorded are available. We wish the school to provide us with a television, CD players and radio cassette players that will enable us to make use of their CDs and therefore boost the activities o the club. It is obvious and has been shown that such practical materials are of tremendous importance in the learning of languages with the hope that the school will soon look into our request.
