After a long and busy term with curricular activities and as terminal examinations has been completed in AMMHS, the Students after these engaged in different extracurricular activities organised in the school.
One of the activities was an interclass female football competition. The classes which took part in this entertaining football encounter was Year-12 (SSS3) against Year 11 (SSS2) all female students. Both teams (Year 11 and Year 12) were made up of Five Players and 1 Goal keeper each. At the commencement of the match, both teams played wonderfully well but as it was an all- female encounter, the match was a total excitement while both teams struggled to win.
After 60minutes (full-time) of play, both teams with one goal apiece had to decide the encounter through a round of penalty spot kick. Goalkeepers of both sides were equally set for the task. After the spot kicks, the Final score was 5-4 in favour of Year 12.
Similarly, AMMHS teachers also played against the Students during the week long extracurricular activities. It was a cracking encounter as teachers took it up seriously against their students. The student had an impressive start to the game as other students turned spectators and fans all yelling in support of the student’s team. But after both half, the teachers Cleary showed the margin by hitting the back of the net six times.
The match ended with a Full-Time score of 6-3 against the students.
Other activities included basketball, Sack race, Spoon and Egg competition among others. All the students had a good time during the period of these activities
